... and I know this because I MET HIM! And Spencer too! They were here in Florida for The Next Big Thing, and since I had VIP tickets I got to meet them and get their autographs (along with a few other bands from that day) and Brendon is ridiculously charming! Zack made it very clear right off the bat that the boys didn't have time to take pics with us (boo!) but we did get some awesome shots of them. And you guys, he was wearing an elf hat... \0/

Happy holidays to all of my fantastic flist! I've been working on the Christmas Carol Brencer, but the holidays set me back a little... but it will be done soon, just needs some finishing touches and some editing...

My computer completely crapped out on me and I've been without it for an entire week... which was pretty much like a fiend missing their daily dose of crack... needless to say, I am back online and the shower porn I was working will be posted ASAP! 

Also, does anyone have any idea what the premise of the New Perspective video is supposed to be?  I love looking at them because they look amazing, but still... any clue?

chicago was awesome! it's an amazing city, and i got to meet some amazing people. hopefully the whole "meet up for a show" thing can become a regular occurence.
the show was fantastic. fall out boy killed it as usual, and panic! was fantastic.
angels and kings was definitely a blast.
i'm super exhausted, but i had to share how great it was. hopefully there'll be more trips like it in the future.
also, thanks to randomepiphany 's inspirational hotel room, and some crazy brainstorming involving me, minus_four , behindthec , and randomepiphany  on our way to the venue, i will be posting a fresh new brendon/spencer pwp in the next day or two.  yay porn!

I cannot begin to describe how excited I am.  I have not been able to shut up about it, and I am slowly driving my family and friends crazy!

I've heard amazing things about Chicago, so there's that, but I'm also so excited to hang out everyone that's going.  And the show, of course.

Oh, and have I mentioned (bragged shamelessly, same difference) about how we have a reservation for a table in the basement (AKA: THE VIP SECTION) at A&K for after the show, who are also hosting the AK47 anniversary party AND the FOB Afterparty... where The Plain White T's will be the entertainment?

So I'm hanging out with my bff... who's a guy.  We've known each other forever and he's awesome, and we've never been more than just friends.  Ever.  We were talking about how much fun I'm gonna have in Chicago, and then this ridiculous conversation took place:

Me: Hey, maybe I'll get lucky and meet the man of my dreams while I'm in Chicago?!

Him:  Dude, that would kind of suck...

Me: Why?  Don't you want me to find my soul mate?

Him:  Of course, I just don't want you to decide it's not me...

This was followed by a very uncomfortable silence and him leaving pretty quickly... :(

WTF.  How was I unaware of this?

Dude... I just woke up from a much needed nap, and I had a.... dream.  A dream in which I had ridiculously hot phone sex with behindthec .    

WTF... It was totally hot though, so ya know... whatever.

So I've spent the last week looking for a new place and getting situated.  I was supposed to moving to a place on the beach, but the guy flaked on me at the last minute, so... whatever.  Thankfully I found a cute little place and am now dealing with the actual move... ew.  Although, I am spending 4th of July week in West Palm Beach, followed by and Aerosmith/ZZ Top concert (EPIC) on the 11th, so... Also, only 47 more days until Chicago (F'in CHICAGO!!!!) which is clearly going to be the highlight of my kid free summer, so I guess it's not all bad.  Although, I will probably be without internet for a few days during the move, but I guess that just a sacrifice I'll have to deal with...

So the show last night was amazing! Some friends of mine who are in a band - Falling Awake (you should check them out, they're awesome) - got the opportunity to open for Framing Hanley last night. The show was great, with the exception of the ridiculous amount of underagers who basically ruined the entire meet and greet process, causing them to cut it short, so we didn't get to meet most of the band... but anyway. We got to hang out with Brandon (Guitar/Framing Hanley) and he was AWESOME! He even bought us drinks because he said he was so thrilled to find out they had fans that were old enough to drink! Anyway, good times. Here we are with Brandon. He is super hot... although that face he's making doesn't him justice... but still.

I have been wanting to do this for.... well, a while. But everytime I tried it just did not work. But alas...

So... I just got back from the airport.  Every year my daughters go and spend the summer with their dad.  I thought as they got older (they are 11 and 13 now) this would get easier.  It turns out it's getting harder.  For all of us.  Now that they are older, they don't want to leave their friends of course, but the thing is, unlike most teens (and pre-teens), my relationship with them is better than ever, and we're closer than ever.  Maybe it's because I'm such a young mom... either way, things are just too quiet around here already, and they've only been gone a few hours.  Oh well, hopefully they'll have a good time, and call me EVERYDAY like I insisted before they left!  I do have alot of plans this summer to keep me busy, so maybe that will help.  (Or maybe my ridiculously awesome f-list could cheer me up with some cute/funny pics or rec me some sweet and sappy fic * winkwink*)

Apparently, Ian Crawford has decided to leave The Cab.  I am so bummed... I've seen them live twice and he is an AMAZING guitar player.  Hopefully this won't put a damper on the show I'm going to on Aug. 2nd...
